Year 9 Science

On Friday, Miss Travis’ Year 9 class had an exciting hands-on lesson dissecting a heart! The students were able to see and identify key structures, such as the chambers, valves, and major blood vessels, bringing their learning to life. This practical activity helped them visualize how the heart is structured and relate it to its function in pumping blood around the body. The class thoroughly enjoyed the experience and showed great enthusiasm and curiosity throughout!

Year 9 Geography Project

🌿✨ Huge congratulations to our talented Year 9 students for their incredible handmade tropical rainforest projects! 🌎🌱 Their creativity and dedication truly brought the rainforest to life, and the winning projects were nothing short of spectacular! 🏆🎉 Well done to all who took part – the future of geography is looking bright! 🌿 We are so proud of our Strood Academy community for taking such pride in their work! 💙

& Juliet Trip

On Wednesday 12th March we took 40 Performing Arts students to The New Victoria Theatre in Woking to see '& Juliet'. The students had a blast and were captivated by the performance. We are extremely pleased with the students behaviour and we would like to thank them for demonstrating the high standards that we set here at Strood Academy. We can't wait for the next one, more information to follow soon.
