Two fantastic achievements this week from students of Strood Academy.
We are incredibly proud of Ella ( Year 8 ) who has been selected to represent our school as part of the Medway District Football team this season! A fantastic achievement for Ella who is also playing up a year! We look forward to following your progress as the year progresses - Well done again Ella!
We are also immensely proud of Jamie ( Year 8 ) for his successes at Bridgestone British Masters last weekend. After some hurdles on the Saturday he qualified 8th and 12th, he then managed to qualify 3rd on Sunday. Overall Jamie qualified 6th for the weekend. He was over the moon with his achievements as are we!

A huge thank you to Mr Kiamil who delivered an assembly this week on European Day of Languages. During this assembly, he shared some interesting statistics on the amount of people who speak a second language within England, as well as the amount of people who speak English across the globe. Mr Kiamil also shared stories which were close to his heart to emphasise the importance of learning and being able to speak other languages. We appreciate all of the hard work you put into producing and delivering this assembly - thank you again!
