IB Learner Profile Rewards

This week, we saw even more inquirer certificates and badges being awarded during morning lineups! A huge congratulations to Blake, Bella, Bela and Aimee for all of your hard work - we are so proud of you!

Frankie's Football Success

Last week, Frankie, Year 8, attended a football talent ID event at Arsenal FC, playing on the Emirates Stadium pitch in front of the Arsenal scouting team. After being shortlisted he was one of only 18/20 players in the UK across different age groups to be selected.

This is a massive achievement and our entire community is so proud of Frankie! We all have our fingers crossed for you and look forward to hearing the results!

REWaRDS!

Towards the end of Module 3, we introduced a number of new rewards for students including MYP Learner profile attribute badges and Friday attendance rewards. Information on these rewards can be seen below.

MYP Learner profile attribute badges can be awarded for:

Achieving 10 or more reward points in that attribute.
Completing an additional task/community project/something notable outside of their lesson time.
Individual nominations from staff members.

Friday attendance rewards: students are having the chance to be rewarded if they attend a full week at school from Friday to Thursday each week. Rewards are being given out the following Friday and students must be in attendance on that day to receive their reward. Two students per year group, per college are being awarded a certificate and a prize if their attendance is 100% during this period.

We have celebrated a number of these rewards so far and we look forward to awarding more badges, prizes and certificates to students throughout the rest of the academic year.
