STUDENT Shoutout!

A huge well done to those students who have been the first to receive awards on our IB Learner Profiles - a series of traits which can be seen below. These students received certificates and badges for displaying our IB Learner Profiles in a variety of ways, be it within certain subjects or across the wider school community. With us recently having introduced positive behaviour points based on our IB Learner Profiles, we hope to see many more students receive similar awards. Well done to you all, keep up the hard work!

NEW REWaRDS!

Module 3 has brought a number of new rewards for students including MYP Learner profile attribute badges and Friday attendance rewards.

MYP Learner profile attribute badges can be awarded for:

Achieving 10 or more reward points in that attribute.
Completing an additional task/community project/something notable outside of their lesson time.

Over 40 students have been given the attribute badges so far and we look forward to awarding more badges to students throughout the rest of the academic year.

Friday attendance rewards: students are having the chance to be rewarded if they attend a full week at school from Friday to Thursday each week. Rewards are being given out the following Friday and students must be in attendance on that day to receive their reward. Two students per year group, per college are being awarded a certificate and a prize if their attendance is 100% during this period. We hope this has a positive impact on attendance and also brings some positivity to a Friday morning line up!
