Year 11 Lessons of Excellence
Year 11 are working hard to refine their essay writing skills this module in their weekly Lesson of Excellence! The essays are planned in advance as homework so that students can get stuck in to their extended writing as soon as they sit down! The exam desks are set up for an authentic exam experience, and teachers circulate to give feedback. Students are being reflective and acting on feedback throughout the session. We are so proud of the resilience of our wonderful year 11 cohort. We are sure that these sessions will help them to improve their writing stamina and develop their analytical skills. Watch out English GCSEs 2025, we’re coming for you!
KS3 Girls Football
On a frosty Monday afternoon in Snodland our KS3 girls put on a very professional display. Singing voices travelled back to Strood after an 11-3 win. Goalscorers were Elisha, Esmae, Olivia, Phoebe, Bella. Well done ladies, super proud of you!
KS3 Boys Basketball
On Tuesday, the Year 7/8 Basketball team secured their place in this year's play offs with a win over the Victory Academy! A second place finish in the group stages means we advance to the semi finals! 23-10 was the final score with each student playing their part in securing a valuable victory! Well done all! Man of the match was Zabariah who put on a defensive masterclass. Kaizen also excelled in his defensive role! Well done everyone!
