Ava's 80s Colour Run
Last weekend, Ava in Year 9 took part in the 80's Colour Run. This event, which Ava took part in with her dance group, 'The Street Academy of Dance', raised money for the Wisdom Hospice Charity. Ava completed a 5k run and has raised over £200 so far. This adds to the collective total raised by her entire dance group of over £4000. We are so proud of Ava for her hard work and dedication in raising money for a fantastic cause.
Year 11 Intervention
Year 11 are off to a flying start this year. In English intervention yesterday students explored the theme of kingship in Macbeth. Students worked hard to analyse an extract and then worked as a group to construct a paragraph. Inferences were made, and students confidently identified quotations and methods. Some also made contextual links. Well done year 11!
