Mission: Art education inspires students to perceive and shape the visual characteristics of the world around them, while making authentic connections to their lives, cultures and communities. Using a variety of ways to explore, problem solve, collaborate, and communicate, students develop their capacity for imaginative and reflective thinking. Our artists will recognize that there are multiple ways to express themselves through their artwork. They will utilize the skills and tools learned in art courses to make real-world connections that will foster life-long contributions to our greater community.
