Readers Workshop

• Mini-Lesson (7-10 minutes)

• Reading Period (20-35 minutes) longest part of reader’s workshop this time is used for practice and independent reading time. Teacher meets with students and pulls small groups during this time.

• Mid workshop interruption (2-3 minutes) this could be a reminder or a share

• Partner time (10 minutes): Read with a partner

• Closing meeting: (5 minutes)
