Meet Your Teacher
About your teacher
My name is Kelli Pickering, and I am your 2nd grade teacher! I began my education at Northwest Missouri State University where I completed my degree in management and marketing. A short while after completing school, I still had the desire and passion to become a teacher. I returned to school to complete my master’s degree in early childhood education from Grand Canyon University. I student taught at Strasburg before graduating in May of 2019, and have been teaching here ever since. However, before joining the Strasburg team, I was not completely new to the classroom. I worked as a teacher’s assistant for two years in a grade school in Stillwater, Oklahoma, where I lived for four years. I now live in Greenwood, Missouri with my husband and daughter Ella. I am excited to get to know you and your child throughout this school year.
