Coding anyone?

If you think you might want to try your hand at some coding then here are some resources you might find helpful. Coding isn't for everyone but if you want to dip your feet in the water then something like Scratch is a good place to start.

Free to download, Scratch lowers the barrier of difficulty in computer programming so that anyone can participate. Probably the best place to start. Think of it as your introduction to coding.

Google "CS First"

A free computer science curriculum that makes coding easy to teach and fun to learn. Loads of content to keep you busy.


Code.org has also partnered with Minecraft, Scratch, Tynker, CodeBattle, and others to create modules that gives kids experience creating games and apps. All for free.

Programming is an art as much as a science. You can express your ideas in Hopscotch through games, apps, animations, and more.Free to use but paid premium feature also.

Once you have tried out the free coding options and if coding is something you like then CodaKid will keep you busy. CodaKid is not free though.
