WHO, WHO, WHO, LISTEN TO THE NEWS!

A Peek at Week:

• Super Kids Reading -  Review of Letters. So far, we have studied letters Cc, Oo,Gg,Aa, Dd, Ss,Ll, Ii,Tt,Ff and Letter Ee,Hh,Uu,Bb this week.  Please review the Letterbook, when they bring it home. 
  .   Show and Share will  be held this week on  Thursday. They may bring something that begins with Letter Bb.

• Math - We are studying Numbers to 50. Please keep reviewing them. We are studying position words and how to use them correctly. We are learning how to break apart numbers from 2-10. 

• Religion - Jesus welcomes us.  We are learning about all the wonderful things that God created for us.  Awareness of the parts of the Mass. We are talking about making good choices. We are also, talking about praying to God for thanks for everything we encounter in our lives. Please encourage your child to say the Hail Mary and Guardian Angel  prayer at bedtime.  We are talking about treating others the way we would like to be treated. We are also having discussions about our awareness of our church, especially when we attend Mass. We are talking about teaching the word of Jesus. We're preparing for the beginning of LENT in February.

• Science -  Our next topic will be the seasons and our five senses. We are talking about our Planets. We are also, becoming more aware about Motion.

• Social Studies - We  are talking about jobs and rules at school and in our neighborhood. We are discussing how to be responsible at home, in school, and in our community.  We will be discussing our symbols that represent America.

• We are learning about rules in our school, at home, and in our community.

• Our students practice weekly "I Ready" for Reading and Math.   The students will be using the computer lab and I-Pads  to take part in  lessons, that will assist them with various skills in reading and math. We will keep you informed about your child's progress.

• Information about our classroom will be sent in a newsletter on Thursdays.
