Wendy DeGroat is a resource librarian at Maggie L. Walker Governor’s School in Richmond. She created a semester-long curriculum around OSS that allows MLWGS students to learn about active listening, mindfulness, bias awareness, and conversational skills, all while earning community service hours and getting to know a fellow student!
