Since I was a child, drawing has always been a hobby of mine, and a great stress reliever as well. In high school, I took an art class every year while also taking advanced art classes. My favorite type of art is expressionism and also hyper-realism. Through these different mediums, I found a second language that helps communicate complex emotions, such as happiness, sadness, and love. A good piece of art can tell an entire story, while also having the capability of drawing in an audiance.
Reading has always been a point of ineterests for me since I was young. In elementary school, reading and writing was never my strongest field in class. Despite this, I worked hard for many years and turned reading into a hobby that I frequently do on the weekends. My favorite type of books are those that promote inwards thinking, and self reflections. I am always trying to become a better person for myself, my family, friends and colleagues. The most recent book that I read was Can't Hurt Me, by David Goggins, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Running is an interests that I picked up only a few years ago but has made some of the biggest improvements in my life to date. Despite not being the fastest runner, I find running to be a great way to relieve stress while also connecting with nature. Especially at college, its very easy to get overwhelmed by work which happens from time to time. Running has helped me clear my mind and has helped me tackle some of the daily challenges that I might face.Â
