At Stony Brook University I am a third year catcher for club baseball. Playing club baseball has enabled me to work with a team to solve a common goal, to represent our affiliated school, and to win. Baseball has also given me the opportunity to hold leadership positions such as being the secretary of the club. Voted in by active members of the club, my role as a secretary is to communicate with those interested in the club and those members who are currently participating in club activities.
Through hard work and the dedication to furthering my knowledge, I have been selected to the annual deans list each semester at Stony Brook University. Currently, I am studying biology (pre-medicine) and have accumulated a 3.88 GPA over three years of higher education schooling. I credit this accomplishment to the hard work I put towards furthering my knowledge and the goals I set for myself each and every day.
At James Caldwell High School in Caldwell, NJ, I graduated in the top 10 % of my graduating class and was rewarded a medallion that I wore during our graduation ceremony. High school is where I found my passion for education and helping others which led me to finishing with a 3.81 GPA. Much of this success was do to the constant support of my family, friends, and the extracurricular activities I participated in during my high school years. These activities include Key Club, and varsity baseball where I started as catcher for three of my four years at James Caldwell.
