1. I love to draw (hence the flower below). I took AP Studio Art in high school, where I learned many techniques for drawing and art.
2. I love food! I'm very open to trying new and different foods. The Wang Center offers a great opportunity to achieve this, and I'm so glad that I can try the foods of different cultures right here at Stony Brook.
3. I love to read. Ever since I was a kid, I have always grabbed anything to read. From graphic novels to biographies, I am interested in reading (and learning) about anything.
4. I work at a library. I was able to get a job at my local library, and I am so grateful for it. My love for reading makes the library Disneyland for me, and the people I work with makes everyday a fantasy.
5. I love to travel. Whether it's a day trip to the beach or a trip to another country, I'm always willing to go and explore the new frontier!
This website shows the journey I went on this semester as I learned more about the ways of an English teacher. Whether it was Reading Responses, Blogs, or even Unit overviews, I was able to gain a better understanding of the skills needed to be an efficient teacher. Viewing the pages, one can see the different ways I grew as a student and how I used my Popplet to map out the journey I went through along the way.
