Jae received his B.A. in Chemistry at Cornell University. He then went to California Institute of Technology and worked in Dr. Shu-ou Shan's lab to obtain his Ph.D. in Chemistry.  For postdoctoral training, he worked in Dr. Judith Frydman's lab at Stanford University. 

Katie received her BS in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology as well as a Graduate Certificate in Data Analytics from Northeastern University. During her time in Boston, she worked in industry as well as in academic labs at both UMass Boston and Harvard. She is excited to conduct research on ribosomes in the Lee Lab.
