Allies are always welcome. But please keep in mind this is first and foremost space for LGBTQIA+ people. Please be educated and aware of the unique challenges that our community faces. 

Yes! Stonewall Sports Austin welcomes everyone regardless of age, orientation, gender identity, sex, religion, or athletic ability. 

Unlike those pesky job applications Stonewall Sports Austin is no experience needed. We pride ourselves on being accessible and welcoming to players at all skill levels. Where appropriate our sports are divided based off competitiveness level to keep the games fun and fair for all! 

Please email your sports director, identified on the board page, for help with registration.

To join a team, you’ll need the approval of the team’s captain. Contact them before joining a team. Or, go to your league’s free agent social for a chance to meet other teams that need players. 

Yes! For most of our leagues, you can sign up as a free agent. We’ll place you with a team, or you can find one during our pre-season free agent social.

Free agents are players who aren’t committed to a team. Most of our leagues have an option to sign up as a free agent. Free agents are placed with teams after registration closes. Or they can match up with a team any time before games begin. 

Yes! In most of our leagues, you can create a small group. Anyone who joins the small group will be placed on the same team together. 

If the registration deadline has passed, or the league has reached capacity, we typically cannot accommodate additional registrations. You can reach out to the sports director, identified on our board page, for more information on sport specific rules.

We can help! Full-ride scholarships are available. Just submit our scholarship form under the resources tab.

Unfortunately, no. Stonewall Austin is a 21+ league. But we welcome everyone to come out and watch! Keep in mind some of our events include alcohol and adult behavior. Selective attendance is advised. 

Of course, who doesn't like to watch! Please note that jerseys, equipment, and the fields are reserved for playing members only as they have paid dues towards membership and signed necessary liability waivers.
