RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS
These requirements will apply to any returning student that has moved, any returning student that registered using a residency affidavit in the 24-25 school year, or any NEW student.
Utility bills (Gas, Electric, Water) No phone, internet, or cable bills accepted. Must be current within 30 days of verification date AND not indicate a cut off date.
Mortgage documents or property deed
Current apartment or home lease
Homestead Exemption Form
Driver's license (not expired)
Voter precinct identification if address is shown
Automobile registration (current year)
Personal visit by a designated school district official
Any other documentation that will objectively and unequivocally establish that the parent or guardian resides within the school district. (We will accept the following government mail: SNAP/TANF certification within 1 calendar year, Medicaid renewal within 1 calendar year, Federal or MS Student Financial Aid within 1 calendar year)
In the case of a student living with a legal guardian who is a resident of the school district a Certified copy of filed petition for guardianship will be required in addition to 2 proofs of residency.
ALL PARENT/GUARDIANS MUST ALSO SHOW VALID IDENTIFICATION (IF ONE IS NOT USED AS A PROOF OF RESIDENCY)
