**Electricity Billing
At Stomping Grounds RV Park, we believe you should only pay for what you use. That’s why we utilize Submetered Electric Passthrough for our long-term guests.
Pay-Per-Use Billing: Instead of a flat "electricity fee" that might overcharge light users, each site is equipped with an individual meter. You are billed only for the actual kilowatt-hours (kWh) consumed during your stay.
Direct Passthrough Pricing: We don't view electricity as a profit center. We pass the utility company’s direct rate straight to you without any markups or hidden surcharges.
Real-Time Accuracy: Our submeters are professionally maintained to ensure precision, giving you full control over your monthly budget—whether you’re running the AC all summer or keeping it cozy in the winter.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Because we are a rural destination with limited availability, cancellations impact us significantly.
Short Stays (Paid in Full): Cancellations made 8 days or more prior to arrival will receive a refund of their payment, minus a $20.00 administrative fee. Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival are non-refundable.
Weekly & Monthly Deposits: The $100.00 and $150.00 deposits are non-refundable. If you cancel at any time, these funds are forfeited to cover the administrative costs and the holding of the site.
No-Shows: If you do not arrive by [11:00 AM] the morning following your scheduled arrival date without notification, your reservation will be cancelled and all payments forfeited.
Weather: We do not offer refunds for weather-related cancellations or early departures.
Check-in/Check-out: Check-in is at 2:00PM; Check-out is at 11:00AM. Late departures may result in an additional fee.
