This two-session series continues the PBL partnership between Kohl Open School and HQIM Academy from thee 25-26 school year. In session 1 (October 23), teachers will deepen their capacity to design rigorous, standards-based assessment within their projects, developing formal rubrics and assessment maps for their Trimester 2 PBL Units and school goals.

Teachers in grades K-5 will unpack the Amplify units and effectively use the Amplify Lesson Planning Protocol. Within the Unpacking a Unit Tool, teachers will dive into the Big Ideas aspect of the new framework as the unit overview includes big idea development pages that support how these ideas function within the unit.
