A Tour of Festivals
CTE: Multimedia students participated in a variety of festivals during the 2026 Spring Term.
First up was the San Joaquin County Film Festival on April 24th. Official selections included Spilt Ice Cream, Love Doesn't Wait (3rd place in Drama), Found (1st Place in Animation), and Latte (1st Place in Drama).
Next was the Media Showcase at San Joaquin Delta College on May 8th which showcased student works from all previous years in collaboration with SUSD Media Arts, Stagg High School, Fierce Mustang Media and DJS Media Consulting.
Following that was the Titan Talents Festival on May 13th, led by Carlos Regalado.
Lastly was the Performing Arts Festival on May 16th. All student works can be viewed on this playlist.

Media Show Case
This Media Show Case highlighted how SUSD has supported the Multimedia Pathway starting in Elementary Schools, building into the CTE programs in the High Schools, and articulating with college as well as encouraging students to pursue internships and jobs in the industry.
The participating programs included SUSD Media Arts, Stagg High School, Cesar Chavez High School, San Joaquin Delta College, and DJS Media Consulting.
Students of Chavez from the last 4 years were showcased and speeches were given by our interns, Aiden Ruiz, Carlos Regalado, and Romeo Cantineri as well as the Multimedia Club President, Dantuerth Altyra Pinga.

Special shout out to Buss Productions, alum of Rogue Titan Studios, as they continue to create amazing works. Their short film, Premonition, took 2nd place in their category and was created from scratch in a single day.
Congrats to all production teams and films who screened at the festival! It was a joy to see everyone celebrate eachother and their works.
