Sandra Day was born in Texas on March 26, 1930. She grew up in a cattle with no water or electricity. Sandra Day had two younger siblings. Her brother name was H. Alan Day and her sister name was Ann day. Her and her brother spend time working on a book that's called Lazy B.
Sandra Day was a great student in school and college. She was a fast learner, she learned how to read when she was four years old. When she finished high school she was the age sixteen. She got accepted at Stanford when she was sixteen years old. During college she earned two bachelor degrees. After she graduated, she was selected to be a lawyer for the Supreme Court. She accept to be a lawyer until she retired.
Sandra Day O'Connor was the first women to serve the Supreme Court. Also the first woman to have her name attached to a law school. President Obama awarded her Nation highest civilian honor, the Presidential Medal of Freedom. She also got on the National Women History.
Later years
In 2006, Sandra Day retired from being a lawyer. She did that because she wanted to spend more time with her husband because he was diagnosed with a disease. After she retire, she got a degree and served a study group of Iraq. But on Friday December 1, 2023, she passed away.
