Marcy is also a popular area to visit in New York, as it's the highest point in New York. And people love to hike up the mountain even though its a hard hike, but the view is worth it, as when your on top you get to see the mountain you just hiked up and all the clouds around you. And one of the most popular places to visit in New York is the statue of liberty. You are able to go see a part of history in New York, as you can go out to see the Statue of Liberty and take a tour inside of the statue. (But you need tickets.)
In 1886 the people of France gave New York the Statue of Liberty as a thank you.
