WOMEN IN STEM HISTORY

Dr. Maria Cristina Garcia Sancho was the first Latin American women to become a neurosurgeon. Beginning her career in Mexico, she was a student at the National Autonomous University of Mexico.

Dr. Pamela E. Harris is a Mexican-American mathematician and Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Williams College. She cohosts the podcast Mathematically Uncensored and co-founded Lathisms.
