Foundation Art

"3x5x25" by Camila P.

The culminating project for our Foundation Art class this semester was entitled "3x5x25." Each student was required to draw a 25 self portraits, from life, only using a 4B pencil, and a 3x5" piece of paper. The aim of this series was to promote the idea of dedicating yourself to a single subject for an extended period of time. Throughout the process, students saw their technique improve, and concepts change.
