First and foremost, I am a husband of over ten years to Sheena and a father to three decidedly kinetic boys: Paddy, Hunter and Conor and we have on cat named Leia. I graduated from St. Michael’s College in Dublin, Ireland and then completed my bachelors of science from Marquette University (during this time, I did a semester at NUI Galway, it was amazing). I also have master degrees from Loyola University Chicago and MIT. I am currently enrolled in the Remick Leadership program at the University of Notre Dame
As a teaching assistant, I taught at Marquette University and The University of Notre Dame. From 2017-2018, I was the junior high science teacher and the homeroom teacher for the amazing 6A at St. Matthew Cathedral School in South Bend, Indiana. That year I was also a rugby coach at Marian High School in Mishawaka, Indiana. I now coach rugby at Marquette University High School.
Before teaching science, I spent about a decade ‘doing science’. I worked on projects (mostly in neuroscience) at Loyola, MIT, Harvard, Trinity College Dublin, CiNet at Osaka University in Japan, Indiana University and Notre Dame.
I am Texan by birth, Irish by origin, and the junior high science teacher at St. Monica School by the Grace of God.
'I was like a stone lying deep in the mud. Then he who is powerful came and in his mercy pulled me out, and lifted me up and placed me on the very top of the wall.'
