The Inheritance Game by Jennifer Lynn Barnes
This book follows the story of a girl who mysteriously gets sent billions of dollars from Tobias Hawthorne, who did not give his own family all of his money. I loved this book because it kept me guessing and although it is a mystery, it had a subplot of romance. It was an easy read and not too dark, allowing me to get through it fairly quickly! Also, the chapters are super short so you feel accomplished when you finish a chapter!
On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous by Ocean Vuong
As a first generation immigrant, this book resonated with me; it discussed the importance of individuality. This epistolary novel breaks grammar conventions to illustrate a poetic reflection on queer and minority identity.
The Selection by Kiera Cass
The Selection is a young adult fiction, set in a dystopian society. The prince is looking for a wife and teenage girls enter a draw to see who will compete for his love (very similar to the show bachelor). Very hard to put down once started.
The Inheritance Game by Jennifer Lynn Barnes
The inheritance games is a young adult fiction. The main character is a teenage girl who one day is told she has been included on the will of a billionaire that’s she’s never met nor heard of. With the help of the billionaire grandsons, they untangle the mystery of why she was left the estate. (Tea)
This is a unexpected mystery book. I loved the amount of clues and riddle throughout which impacted the end result which was very unexpected. Each clue left a path and all connected to make an overall insane plot. Loved how each important piece can be seen through the cover which is an absolutely stunning design. Highly recommend to readers who love mystery, similar to 'Knives Out' and 'Death on the Nile'. (Lauren)
Hawthorne Legacy (2nd book of Inheritance Games) by Jennifer Lynn Barnes
This is a continuation off of the mysterious first book. This book was outstanding was unlike any other mystery book. I thought the first one was great, but this one took it up a notch. The story continues to follow the main character Avery, and what she goes through in this book.

Vow of Thieves (2nd book) by Mary Pearson
This book was a perfect continuation of the first book, both are absolutely amazing! When Kazi and Jase return (in the first book), they go to Jase's country and find it in rumble. This book goes through so many ups and downs and keeps you waiting till the end. (This book is similar to the Cruel Prince)

The False Princess by Eilis O'Neal
The False Princess is a story about a false princess on a quest to find herself and to find out if there are more like her, with magic. This story is about wizards and princesses, and this book has a lot of suspense. I really liked this book and all the content it carried. Read this book if you are interested in fantasy and action. This book also reminds me a little about the Harry Potter series because it has a school of wizards.
Deepfake by Sarah Darer Littman
I recommend this book because the plot and overall experience of the protagonists are very realistic, as the book is realistic fiction. It's the type of book that can relate to many teenagers in high school, as the experiences are very prone to happen in today's society with the use of social media. This book can help teach many teenagers the dangers of society and how it could affect anyone's life.
Recommended Titles include:
