NEXT STEPS
After making our PFAS Sorry board game, the next step is to make a presentation about it. We will create a slideshow that explains what PFAS are and why they are a problem. The slideshow will also show how to play the game and why it is important. We will use pictures and simple words to make it easy to understand. Then, we will practice talking about the game so we can explain it clearly and answer any questions. This way, people will learn about PFAS and enjoy the game too.
WHAT WE ARE
WORKING ON NOW
Right now we’re working on how the game will actually play. That means deciding how players move, what kind of challenges or setbacks they’ll face, and how the PFAS theme will show up in the gameplay. We want it to feel like a real game, not just a school project with trivia thrown on top. People should want to play it more than once.
We’re also focusing on how it looks and feels. We’re designing custom cards, making sure the board is easy to follow, and choosing colors and symbols that match the theme. It should grab your attention, but also be simple enough that anyone can pick it up and get what’s going on.
OUR GOAL
The goal is to teach without lecturing. Most people don’t know much about PFAS, but they’ve probably come across it without realizing. If someone plays the game and starts asking questions or notices something in their daily life because of it, then we’ve done our job. We want to make something that sticks with people.
