PFAS IN OUR OCEANS
ABOUT THE PROJECT
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Our Proposal
We think our project matters because people need to know how serious the PFAS problem really is. Almost everyone in the U.S. has PFAS in their blood, and these chemicals have been linked to cancer and other major health issues. That’s a huge deal. We believe the first step to solving this is getting more people to understand what PFAS are and why they’re dangerous. If more people speak up, there’s a better chance we can stop the production of these harmful chemicals for good.
Project Question
Water pollution occurs when harmful things like chemicals, trash, or waste get into rivers, lakes, and oceans. This can come from factories, farms, or even everyday items like plastic and oil on the streets. Polluted water can damage fish, wildlife, and plants, and it can make people sick if they drink or swim in it. It's crucial to keep our water clean to protect the environment and everything that relies on it.
