Welcome to our website!

Our names are Leela and Abigail and we are former Pacific Palisades residents. Our project explores how the debris of the costal homes lost in the Palisades fires degrade in the ocean overtime and how that process affects marine life and shoreline water quality. We were interested in this project because of how recent and harmful the fires were to us and our community, so we wanted to help raise awareness and spread information on the safety of the ocean and if we should or shouldn't be in the water and about potential future harms to marine life and ecosystems.
