About Me
About Me
My name is Nicki Angell, and I teach ELA for 5th and 6th grade. I graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in Elementary Education and a certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language. While at U of I, I was a Resident Advisor at Newman Hall, a CCD teacher, and a Bible Study leader. This is my second year teaching 5/6 ELA at Saint Matthew.Â
Literature played an important role in my life growing up, and I look forward to working with students to foster their love of reading. Your student's time in ELA will help them strengthen language skills, inspire creativity, and develop social-emotional skills.
