Year 3

Year 3 are avid readers, they love all sorts of books, fiction and non-fiction. We found that they love books such as Harry Potter and karate kid. We've made an entire libary of all the books that they enjoy reading.

These are some of year 3s favourite books, they are the type of books that you can read over, and over again and not get bored.

Harry Potter

Harry Potter is a book about a 11 year old boy named Harry, as Harry progresses through his life he finds out that he is a wizard...but a mysterious plot is stirring up at Hogwarts with his arch enemy, Voldermort, at the drivers seat. "I love Harry Potter books because they are so magical and they are filled with characters such as Hermione Granger who is my favourite character in the book because she is a girl."

Karate Kid

Karate Kid is about a young boy who gets picked on when he moves to Japan. So he entrusts a Janitor to help him get better at karate and self-defence. Until, he gets picked for tournament and proves the bullies wrong.

BFG

Roald Dahl's The BFG is a story about a friendly giant known as The BFG who collects and gives good dreams to children, and an orphan named Sophie. Together, The BFG and Sophie, with help from the Queen of England, help to rid the world of the child-eating giants.

Slime

The story is set on the Isle of Mulch where Ned lives with his parents and sister Jemima. Ned learns that his sister has been planning to play a huge trick on him, but he has taken her collection of gunk and tried to play the trick back.

Gangsta Granny

Our hero Ben is bored beyond belief after he is made to stay at his grandma's house. She's the boringest grandma ever: all she wants to do is to play Scrabble, and eat cabbage soup. That is until she goes on a character ark and turns into a villianous villain of a gradma robbing banks and stealing the crown jewls.

Wheres Wally??

Wheres wally is a fun book where you try to find waldo in selection of pictures. There is lots people who look similar to waldo and you have to find him in the crowd.
