Colloquiums Presented
Department colloquium was presented by Ms. Jayasree on the topic “Data Analysis using R” on 5th March 2024. The faculty were given insights on the basics of utilizing the R language for statistical computing and data analysis.
Department colloquium was presented by Ms. Jayasree on the topic “Case method of teaching” on 19th January 2021. She explained that Case-based teaching simulates real world situations and asks students to actively grapple with complex problems. This method of instruction is used across disciplines to promote learning, and is common in law, business, medicine, among other fields.
Ms. Jayasree presented a colloquium on 26th June, 2020 on ‘Google sites and Google Classroom’. In the colloquium she demostrated and explained how to make a website using google sites and how to make courses and enroll students in google classroom. She also explained about important features of google classroom like creating and sharing material with students, creating quizes and grading assignments.
