1. Children are suitably challenged in their learning through quality first teaching
a) Monitoring programme in place for Subject leads and SLT across the year to assess progress through using pupil voice, books, displays and learning walks
b) Continue CPD with teachers and Teaching assistants on adaptive teaching strategies including modelling, talk out loud, questioning, scaffolding for different subjects
c) Evaluate our curriculum provision with a focus on our SEND children
a) Improve writing levels through developing a mastery approach to writing incorporating the explicit teaching of the different elements of the writing rope
b) Developing Maths across the school including Maths Mastery CPD
c) Implement a new home learning system that provides all children with equal access and supports them in consolidating their learning at their own pace and level
a) Further develop our strategy for assessing children’s learning using Insight
b) Continue to develop our Feedback policy with most up to date research with a focus on whole class feedback structure and recording of this
d) Continue to develop parent reports with mini-target reports a week prior to a parent consultation
