The objective of this lesson is for students to gain an overall understanding of different emotions. In this lesson, students will learn different emotions and how to appropriately identify/label them. After, students will be able to receptively and expressively identify common emotions.

There are no language restrictions which allows students the space to be creative and create something that they can personally relate to and utilize in the classroom. After this lesson, students will be able to identify their emotions and place them in their appropriate Mood Meter quadrants. Once completed, students will have their own emotion tool box to keep in their desks.
The objective of this lesson is for students to learn what coping strategies are. After this lesson, students will be able to identify at least 3 coping strategies that they personally are able to utilize.
The objective of this lesson is for students to create personalized coping strategy cards that they will add to their tool box. Students will be able to utilize their coping strategy cards in order to return back to the Green Zone.
The objective of this lesson is for students to learn the concept of ABC data (Antecedent, Behavior Consequence). After this lesson, students will be able to complete the chart as well as recognize that consequences can be positive or negative.
The objective of this lesson is for students to understand the concept of BCF (behavior, consequence, feeling). After this lesson, the students will be able to use their knowledge of BCF to conceptualized that our actions have consequences that directly affect our mood. This opens up a conversation around thinking before we act.
