Established in 1974, the American Hungarian Educators Association (AHEA) is a vibrant organization promoting academic and cultural exchange between Hungary and the United States. We are a network of professors and researchers from both sides of the Atlantic, dedicated to advancing educational partnerships and research on all aspects of Hungarian society, history, culture as well as American-Hungarian connections. Our conferences are highly interdisciplinary and they provide a wonderful opportunity to network with colleagues from a wide range of institutional backgrounds. Traditionally, we hold every fifth conference in Hungary. We look forward to working with the University of Pécs to host our 49th conference!
