Hello!  My name is Vanessa Spurio and I am excited to be teaching kindergarten at St. Mary Magdalen School.  This will be my 23nd year teaching for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and my 7th year at SMM. 

I have a Master's degree in Elementary Education from Neumann University.  I have a love for learning and I attend numerous workshops to stay current in education. 

I am happily married to my husband Mike for 19 years. We have three handsome boys;  Michael, Timothy and Ryan. We also have a cat named Buddy and our dog named Daisy.  In addition to teaching, I  enjoy spending time with my family and friends.  We are huge Philadelphia sports fans! We have a love for the EAGLES, Flyers and Phillies!! I also enjoy going to the beach, walks with my boys, reading a good book and taking a ride with my husband on his motorcycle.  

I love being a part of the Saint Mary Magdalen School community and I am very honored to be teaching your child.
