Halloween Parade

Halloween is quickly approaching, and Pre-K and Kindergarten are getting ready for our Halloween activities around the school.  Since we have a few conflicts on Friday morning, we will begin our celebration and fun with our classmates and teachers on Thursday, October 29th. 

We will have a special parade outside (weather permitting), and in the school building for all to see our wonderful costumes!  The parade will begin around 8:15. We will have cones set up for parents to stand behind, allowing you to see our route.  After our parade, our students will gather on the grass near the school building to perform a few spooky songs before heading back inside to continue the fun in school.   

The children should come to school dressed in their costumes with a “Halloween Dress Down” worn underneath for after our parade.  We kindly ask, as always, that all children wear only sneakers for safety. **Please send a labeled bag to hold their costume and any school Halloween items. Their costumes should fit so that the children can walk without any issues.**

The following items are NOT PERMITTED: costume masks, weapons, shoes that aren’t sneakers, and make-up. 

Home and School and our wonderful homeroom moms are preparing fun events and parties for us to celebrate Halloween fun in our classrooms!  We are so grateful for their involvement!  

Given that our parade is on Thursday, students in Pre-K and Kindergarten may also have a 

Halloween Dress Down on Friday, October 30th!
