Hello! My name is Lexie Cash and I will be teaching 5th grade math, science & 6th grade math. I have a wonderful husband, Eric, a 13 year old step-son, Joseph, a 2.5 year old son, Tobin and our 5 month old daughter, Ruby. I graduated from Cincinnati Christian Univeristy in 2018 with a Psychology and Clinical counseling degree and spent 4 years as a therapist in CPS schools. In 2021, I completed my Master of Education from Mount Saint Joseph University. Teaching is my passion & I feel thankful that I get to be a part of your life in one small way. In my free time I love to spend time with my Grandma, sister and our kids at the pool or just at home together! I love shopping at target, coffee from Coffee Emporium, going on walks with my friends and watching the US Women's national soccer team. I can't wait to see how we grow together this year! 

 My name is Kristin Sims and I teach 5th grade Reading, Writing and Social Studies!  I graduated from The Ohio State University and upon graduation I taught 4th grade for 14 years!  I then took some time off from teaching to raise my family. I am excited to start the school year!  Reading and Writing are my favorite subjects.  I look forward to reading many novels as a class, independently and in small groups with the fifth graders. I am also excited to develop their writing and take several pieces to the publishing stage.  I love to turn small moments into great stories!  Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My family lives in Hyde Park and we love our community!  We are frequent visitors to Graeter’s, Aglamesis, Zips, Dewey's Pizza and the Sports Club pool! Don’t be surprised if you see us there!! My husband Chad and I have two kids and a golden retriever.  Gabrielle is a senior at MND.  She plays the guitar and enjoys reading and music.  William is a freshman at Moeller.  He runs cross country, plays LAX and enjoys drawing.  Magnolia is our 6 year old golden retriever and don’t be surprised if you see her at school! She loves long walks and long naps.  I love to read, cook with my mom, run with Chad (Did you know Chad is one of the founders of the Hyde Park Blast?), travel with my family ( We went to Chicago and many college campuses this summer.) and cheer on my beloved Buckeyes!  

    I am looking forward to a year of academic, social and spiritual growth! Get ready Fifth Grade! We are going to learn lots and have fun together!
