Mrs. Bryson is enjoying her 5th year at Saint Mary School and her 13th year teaching. She loves to read, write, and discuss literature with her students.
6th ELAR-- Students read Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt, Greek myths from Edith Hamilton's compilation, Esperanza Rising, and Hatchet by Gary Paulsen
7th ELAR--Students read The Giver by Lois Lowry, And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie, Hoot by Karl Hiaasen, and Animal Farm by George Orwell.
8th ELAR--Students read The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton, Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, Night by Elie Wiesel, and Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury.
Composition--Students write daily prompts, Narrative fiction, Myths, poetry, Excellent paragraphs, Argumentative Essays, and Informational essays.
