I did the counting with the 1.69 ounce bag. I counted them by opening the M&M bag and moved them into a bar graph on paper and then I made the Google Spreadsheet. I based my estimate off 50 M&Ms in total and I estimated I would have 5 red, 10 yellow, 7 orange, 13 green, 5 brown, and 6 blue M&Ms. I had 55 in all. With my percentages I think my M&Ms were made in Hackettstown, NJ. The most difficult part was not eating them right away. I overcame this by not thinking about them. I think the average amount in a bag of M&Ms is between 55-57. I enjoyed this because I like math. My favorite M&Ms are the Jalapeno M&Ms.
