3rd Grade

I used Tux Paint to draw a picture of me. I used the lines tool to make the nose. I loved this because I like to use the computer.

When we did the Marshmallow Challenge we had 18 minutes to build a tower. You get 20 spaghetti pieces, one yard of tape, and a yard of string to make a free standing tower. My team was Bishop, Julisa, Camila, and me. We lost because our tower fell down. You must save your tape and try not to snap the spaghetti noddles. I learned to to take ideas before you build. I learned to work together. My team worked well together and I was the one who built the tower. The 2nd time we did the challenge my team was Ava, Angel, Isabella, and me. I think we did it to make friends.

In my learning projects for Scratch, I did Move Forever, Move to a Beat, Key Moves, Follow the Mouse, Glide, Moving Animation, Spin, Change Color, Dance Twist, Animate it, Mosaic, and Shrink and Grow. I think it was fun because I like to program. My favorite project was the Animate it. You can see them here.

I did Name Animation. I made my name. The g, a, i, and n spin. My v will grow. My favorite one was my N. My N was my favorite Because it looks cool. I enjoyed this because I like Scratch. Click on the picture to see it.

I did the butterfly life cycle. It will tell you what each life cycle part does. I liked it because I love to program. I made the egg shake so it looks like it's hatching. Click on the picture to see it.
