Seeking Wisdom to Build a Better World
Online programs to help navigate a turbulent future
The programs below are for life-long, life-wide, life-deep learning for people of high school age through as far beyond as possible! The programs complement each other, but you don't have to do them all to benefit. Nor do you have to do them in order, but there is some logic in the arrangement.

Wisdom Quest is an online, self-paced, self-directed quest to help you find your wisdom, passion, and creativity to build a wiser, more resilient world. It is intended for seekers who think we should and can work to build a better world, including progressives of many faiths and the spiritual but not religious.
This program is a life-long, life-wide, life-deep practice, not a "do it and done" course. We've designed Wisdom Quest so you can do it on your own. It will also work in small groups of individuals sharing their experiences, with or without a leader. However you do it, please do not rush. Learning to live with wisdom on Earth is not easy. We do ourselves an injustice if we aren't willing to work to understand and live it fully.
Transformation The purpose of this program is to help us all find our purpose, meaning, and skills for the work to build a new world.
Our world is in the turbulence of profound change. We can help direct that change by planting seeds of faith, hope, love, and wisdom!
To build this new humane and sustainable world we can use the knowledge and vision of the Earth Charter:
Pillar I. Respect and Care for the Community of Life
Pillar II. Ecological Integrity
Pillar III. Social and Economic Justice
Pillar IV. Democracy, Nonviolence, and Peace
This program helps us understand the turbulence in today's world and how to navigate that turbulence in a constructive way.
Learning Wisdom and Practical Spirituality from Water Knowledge is an important part of wisdom. Water attracts us because it is vital to life plus being exciting and beautiful. This makes it a useful focus and theme for learning.
The purpose of Learning from Water is to help you use water as the theme for a variety of learning experiences including science, technology, engineering, and math; the social sciences; the arts and humanities; and including the potential to develop a deep spirituality and wisdom.
The site has links to relevant websites plus information on activities, concepts, and equipment that have helped us use oceans, estuaries, rivers, lakes, and wetlands to learn science, arts, skills, and personal development.
Wisdom Resources is an on-going collection of concepts and examples that hopefully will inspire you as you move through your life.
