About Your Teachers

I am fortunate to teach PreK through 8th graders at SMOS. You can usually find me singing, dancing, reading stories, playing the piano, or helping our students explore new things. My husband Eric teaches 5th-12th grade Instrumental Music in the Kirkwood School District, and we have a sweet two-year-old named Jonah who loves playing instruments and climbing the dragon at "Mama's School".

Students are truly the best part of my job. I am grateful to be a part of the SMOS community and especially love watching our students grow in their love for music.

This is my second year teaching Suzuki Violin here at SMOS as well as Piano, Ukuele, World Drumming and Music Theatre Analysis. One of my favorite things about teaching is seeing the growth in my students as they discover their talents and their love for music. 

I am always busy and love reading, knitting, skiing, hiking, cooking and making all kinds of art. My husband and I are originally from Northern Utah, we have lived in St. Louis for 3 years.
