How Do I Campaign for Legislative Board Positions?
Students who are running for Legislative Board postions have a few opportunities to campaign.
Social Media & Electronic Campaigning:
Use social media campaigns to reach out to the student body. We acknowledge that not everyone uses social media, so there will be an optional electronic campaign where the Senate will send PDF flyers in a single email to the student body. If you wish to have your campaign represented in the email, please submit an electronic flier as a PDF format to senate@stkate.edu by 8AM ON THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 18th. You are not required to send your flier, but it is a great opportunity for students to know who is running and to know why they should vote for you.
***Flyers should represent you and Senate appropriately. The PR Committee has the right to reject any campaign flyers that include inappropriate or offensive language.
Tabling
To allow candidates the opportunity to chat with the student body and explain their purpose for being on Student Senate, we grant candidates the opportunity to table. Tabling is completely optional, but we strongly encourage it. We grant you to take creative liberty with your table during your time slot. Set up the table in any way that you need for you to have a successful experience campaigning.
Dates:

4pm-7pm
September 18th:
