*Students will be taking the math MAP test tomorrow, Monday, at 12:50pm.
Reading
Students will be focusing on the comprehension skill of identifying the author's point of view while reading an expository text.
Language Arts
Students will continue to practice irregular plural nouns and take a test on them later this week.
Words Their Way (Spelling/Phonics)
Students will review their words from before the break and take a test on Thursday.
Writing
Students will be introduced to a new writing unit this week. They will be working on skills for information writing.
Math
We will continue topic 4 and use multiplication facts to help learn division.
Science
Students will be learning about weather and weather patterns in the new science topic.
Social Studies
Students will be analyzing how communities change over time through studying differenct ancient civilizations.
Religion
Students are learning about different types of prayer and will learn how to write prayers of praise, intercession, petition, thanksgiving and blessing.
