Reading
Students will be doing different activities working on multiple comprehension skills this week. I will be doing running records this week to assess students' reading progress.
Language Arts
Students will be learning about common and proper nouns.
Words Their Way (Spelling/Phonics)
Students will receive new WTW words this week and take a test on Thursday.
Writing
Students picked an animal to research and have been practicing research skills. Students will begin research this week.
Math
We will begin topic 5 this week on fluently multiplying and dividing within 100.
Science
Students will be learning about weather and weather patterns in the new science topic.
Social Studies
Students will be analyzing how communities change over time through studying different ancient civilizations.
Religion
Students will learn about the Sacraments and be able to explain and categorize them correct.
