Standard Based Grading
4 = Advanced – Very Rare; Students have a high area of interest in a topic; goes beyond necessary standard; independent & self-directed
3 = Proficient – Students can consistently complete work correctly on their own.
2 = Developing – Students can complete work, but need some help; Students can sometimes complete work without help.
1 = Emerging – Students need more time to show mastery; Students can complete work with help
Academic Grading
A = 90 - 100
B = 80 - 89
C = 70 - 79
D = 60 - 69
Grades are based on Assessments. Students may retake an assessment after they have it signed by a parent and made corrections on a separate sheet of paper. Retakes need to be within one week from the test being handed back. The student is responsible for setting up their retake.
