I grew up in Eau Claire, Wisconsin until my family moved to Russellville, Kentucky when I was in 7th Grade. I graduated from Logan County High School. I then graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education, a Master’s in Elementary School Counseling, and have my National Boards as a Middle Childhood Generalist.
I have been teaching for 29 years. I was a teacher at Dishman McGinnis Elementary in the Bowling Green Independent School system for 17 years prior to my retirement. Because I can’t seem to sit still and I love teaching so very much, I decided to keep on going! I am excited to begin a new chapter at St. Joe! I love spending time with my family and friends. I also love cooking, reading, kayaking, traveling, decorating, shopping, and Netflix binging.
I have two daughters, Kylee (age 23) and Kerra (age 21). They both graduated from Bowling Green High School. Kylee has graduated from University of Kentucky, and Kerra will be a senior this year at UK. GO CATS!! I also have an adorable, newly-adopted kitten named Carolina.
