World War 2 would start when Hitler would invade Poland on September 1, 1939. Two days later Britain and France declared war on Germany. This kicked off fighting across Europe. Hitler wanted to take over the world. He wanted complete control and nobody wanted to follow him.

World War 2 began in Poland where Hitler had invaded. This would cause France and Great Britain to declare war on Germany. The war would quickly move when Germany wanted to occupy Battle States. These Battle States were Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.

The Nazi's or National Socialists German Workers Party were a political party grew and took over Germany from 1935 to 1945 and were led by Adolf Hitler. The party started in 1919 and had given Germany pride and anti-Semitism. They did not agree with the treaty that had ended WW1. Adolf Hitler joined the party the year it was formed and became a leader in 1921. Many believe that Germany formed the party after its defeat in WW1. They were a very nasty and racist group that believed everyone should follow what they follow. They mainly targeted Jews, who they would end up killing tons of. The party is still around today but not as powerful as it once was.

The United States had already been helping allies in the war, but we had not officially been involved in the war until December 7, 1942. On this date the Japanese would bomb a U.S military base Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. The United States would then declare war on the Japanese. A few days later Italy and Germany would declare war on the United States. This is how we officially became involved in WW2.

The war would officially end when the axis powers would surrender to the allies. On the date May 8, 1945 the allies would accept Germany's surrender. A week later Adolf Hitler would commit suicide. With everyone surrendering some would celebrate but others were sad because of the people they had lost.
