My topic is about the history of Walt Disney World and how it has grown over the past 50 years.

I chose to do this topic because of my love for Disney and how important Disney was and is to my life and many others. Did you know Disney World wasnt even the first Disney Park to be created? It was actually Disneyland in California!

From my research, I learned why each park was created and the minds behind the imagineering and creating. I also learned how Disney was built from the ground up.. literally. Many people didnt know that Magic Kingdom (the first and most popular park at Disney World) is actually built on the second story. Walt Disney thought it would be a good idea to build underground tunnels called utilidoors for castmembers to travel and change in so you dont see a pirate in Tomorrowland

Hopefully in the future, Walt Disney World grows into more of an enjoyment place to humans; young and old.

The purpose of this project is to bring a little fun and light to all the sad history projects my former peers have made. Also, everyone loves a good Disney time; whether its at the parks, on TV, or even just this little site!
